Background
Nancy Normal, Sam Sophomore, Theresa Terra, Fred Flimmer, Glen Glee, and Carelton Comet went on a picnic together. At 7:35 pm, the sky suddenly darkened and Carelton Comet was found dead.
What we did/How we found our evidence.
Terms
Electrophoresis: the movement of charged particles in a fluid or gel under the influence of an electric field
Ink Chromatography: is exposed to certain solvents the colors dissolve and can be separated out. When we expose a piece of paper with ink on it to a solvent, the ink spreads across the paper when the ink dissolves.
Karyotype: the number and visual appearance of the chromosomes in the cell nuclei of an organism or species.
Genotype: the genetic constitution of an individual organism. Often contrasted with phenotype.
Phenotype: the set of observable characteristics of an individual resulting from the interaction of its genotype with the environment.
1st Degree Murder: unlawful killing that is both willful and premeditated
2nd Degree Murder: an intentional killing that is not premeditated or planned, nor committed in a reasonable "heat of passion"
3rd Degree Murder: homicide committed with the intention of causing bodily harm, but not necessarily death
Gene: sequences of DNA that codes protein which gives you a trait
Dominant: over recessive
Recessive: under dominant
Pedigree: the record of descent of an animal, showing it to be purebred.

Reflection
For this project were deemed as scientists and had to investigate evidence of a crime scene and we as a class all ran the lab test. My group was very fun to be with because we all were very good friends and we got along pretty well. We always got our work done, while it seemed like we were never doing work. I don't know how it happened like that but it always somehow did. I feel like something I could work on for myself is my leadership skills. I didn't really play a big role. I kind of let people tell me what to do. And I just did it. I used my phone certain times but overall I think that this was a pretty good group for me and this field of study seems kind of interesting!
